Decarbon8 2026: Climate Resilience - Grid, Water & Food

Decarbon8 2026 is all about climate resilience across grid, water, and food systems, where extreme weather is already stress-testing infrastructure, supply chains, and communities.

If you’re working on solutions that make these systems more robust and adaptive with technologies that can scale and matter, we want to hear from you.

Applications are open May 1 – June 18, 2026.

Investment decisions from the E8 Annual Fund and E8 members will be made by mid-October. To be considered, your round should remain open until at least the end of September.

We run a multi-stage process, narrowing the cohort at each stage to focus on the most promising teams.

What happens when you apply

• You’ll receive an acknowledgement once you've submitted the form. You’ll hear by June 26 on whether you move forward to Screening.
• From late June to August, the stages include pitching through to diligence. 2 – 4 companies are selected for Decarbon8 investment (early September).
• Selected companies pitch at the E8 Annual Meeting (Sept 17, Seattle), with investment decisions from the E8 Annual Fund and E8 members by mid-October.
